Dr. Allyson Koffman
Our resident Medical Director, Dr. Koffman was born in Winnipeg, raised in Toronto and is the proud mother of 2 children; a 7-year old girl and a 13-year old boy with autism.
Dr. Koffman completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology (Genetics) and her Medical Doctorate at Western University in London where she was the recipient of the Martin and Mary Lebouldas Award, finishing at the top of her class in clinical clerkship.
After completing her residency in family and community medicine at Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals (part of the University Health Network), Prior her role at Earl Bales Walk-in Clinic & Family Practice (beginning in January 2011), Dr. Koffman practised as a medical psychotherapist, house call and urgent care physician for 11 years gaining extensive experience in paediatrics, women's health, cardiology, blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes management.

Dr. Cara Flamer
Dr. Cara Flamer, has been practicing family medicine in Toronto for the past 8 years. She was raised in Vancouver before moving across the country to continue her education. She completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University and her medical degree at Queen's University in Kingston, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Flamer's passion is wholistic health, whereby a patient's physical, emotional and spiritual levels are simultaneously addressed in order to achieve an optimal outcome. She is the Medical Director of New Beginnings Integrative Medicine downtown where she specializes in women's health, making us very lucky to have her part-time at the Earl Bales Walk-In Clinic.
Dr. Mehvish Jawaid
Dr. Jawaid, another of our new female physicians, graduated from the McLaren Family Medicine residency program in Michigan. She has been practicing outpatient medicine for the past 2 years, where she has gained tremendous competency performing procedures such as IUDs, circumcisions, skin tag removals, stitches and various other minor surgeries. Dr. Andrew Vellathottam
Dr. Andrew, our first male physician, did his medical training at the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and his residency at Toronto Western hospital (part of the University of Toronto Health Network).
He also has further training in occupational medicine having completed his Masters in Occupational Health at the University of Toronto. We are excited to have Dr. Vellathottam as part of our team!
Dr. Zsuzsanna Kaszas
Dr. Kaszas has over 10 years experience as a family physician in Ontario. We are happy to have her at our clinic!
Dr. Tanya Sehgal
Dr. Sehgal completed her Family Medicine Residency from the University of Manitoba and now calls Ontario home!
She brings with her a full scope of family medicine skills from minor procedures like IUD insertion, mole excisions, skin tag removals, prenatal care, women's health, chronic disease management (for example diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure) and much more.
